After sightseeing in Juneau, we embarked on a Whale Watching tour aboard a large catamaran. It took us on a tour down Stephens Passage through Saginaw Channel, Lynn Canal and Favorite Channel before making the return trip to Auke Bay. It turned out great because the boat held 150 people and there were only about 50 in our group. It was one of the most amazing parts of our trip. We not only saw Humpback Whales, we saw Bald Eagles, Steller Sea Lions, Dalls Porpoises (but only a glimpse) and to our surprise, ORCA Whales:
